Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festivial called Samhain (sow-in).
This day marked the end of summer and the harvest as well as the beginning of the cold, dark, winter, This time of year was associated with human death.
the celts believed that this day is when the boundries between the worlds of the living and the dead start to blur, and the dead returns to earth.
